Ben Platz

“Hey y’all!! My name is Ben Platz from Fort Worth, Texas, and I’m a senior majoring in Chemistry, minoring in Biology, and on the pre-med track. This is my 4th year in the Duke University marching band and 8th year playing the mellophone. We do a lot of really fun things in the band in both the fall and spring. Some of my favorite parts of band are getting to go on the field during halftime at football games, and traveling to the NCAA tournament in the spring. But when I’m not with my band family, I’m doing latin dance, whistling around campus, or drinking an energy drink. I hope to see y’all very soon!!”
